To all Binche Whut’en Eligible Voters
Stanley Tom has resigned from chief and council. Therefore, Binche Whut’en will be holding a By-Election on November 25th, 2023, for the following position.
- 1 General Councillor (on-reserve)
Nomination Meeting, October 26th, 2023, 4-6pm at the Binche Whut’en Community Center.
A nomination package will be sent to all members whom we have an address on file. If your address has changed recently, please notify us immediately. Please fill out your nomination forms and send back to us as soon as possible. The nomination meeting will be held at the Binche Community Center. Any nomination packages not received by 6pm, October 26th, 2023, will not be accepted.
Election Day, November 25th, 2023, at the Binche Whut’en Community Center.
Voting will be done online or through mail. A polling station will be available on election day at the Binche Whut’en community center. Instructions for online voting will be sent out once candidates have been finalized.
