Binche Whut’en seeks to fill the following positions in the Health Department
Health Manager – Fulltime
· Provides leadership input for strategic planning and community health planning.
· Advises on policy development.
· Implements work plans.
· Oversees and is responsible for the effective development, implementation, and evaluation of Binche programs and services related to Health.
Applicant must have:
A diploma in the Health field.
2 years’ related experience.
Community Health Nurse – Part-time (approx. 3.5 days per week)
· Provide treatment to Community members
· Offer education to community members about maintaining · their health so that they can decrease the occurrence of diseases and deaths.
· Plan educational assemblies, hand -out fliers,
· Conduct health screenings, dispense medications and administer immunizations.
Applicant must be a Registered Nurse
Indigenous, in-community experience preferred
