SUBJECT: Elections Appeal UpdateGood afternoon,
I am writing to update you on the postponed Elections Appeal and Removal Hearing. In my email of Tuesday June 23, 2026 (see below), I advised you of the postponement of the Appeal Committee hearing scheduled for June 29, 2026 at the Binche Fellowship Centre. The postponement was due to the Election Appeal Committee not having the required number of members to conduct the Hearing.
The Binche Whut’en Administration had to address the issue by recruiting additional members to meet the requirement. I am pleased to inform you that this has been attended to and that the public meeting to confirm the recommended individuals will be held in community on July 20, 2026 at 6pm at the Binche Fellowship Centre. This information is posted on the Binche Whut’en Website.
