To all Binche Whut’en eligible voters. Chief candidate Dwayne Martin will be stepping down in the 2021 By-Election for Chief. As the only remaining candidate, Tracy Anatole wins the position of Chief by Acclamation. Ballots for chief will be discarded.
We still have a ballot for On-Reserve General Councillor; therefore, the By-Election will proceed and we will hold election day on February 26th as originally scheduled.
If you have not received your ballot or are not able to make it to our office on the 26th for voting, I would suggest voting online. Link is provided below, along with a link for voting instructions.
